Designed by Artistree, our partners at Onera Fredricksburg offer a sampling of all things glamping. From two of Artistree's newest treehouses to yurts and container homes, you can find your glamping favorite here in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. After a day exploring the area, return to gather with others around a fire, enjoy a hot tub or the pool, or retreat to your private abode.

Hundreds of Live oak trees across the property, manicured paths, whimsical evening lights and friendly wildlife bring a sense of wonder and serenity to the space.



Giving you an up close view of nature, from the inside of a luxurious treehouse with everything you need to stay the night or a week. From the rounded walls to the shower with a view, you will feel in luxury and immersed in nature at the same time.


While Texas Hill Country flowers are on the monarch migration trail, this Monarch treehouse is here to delight you year round. Nestled around an elm tree, your treehouse adventure includes a private, two-ton, hand-carved rock soaking tub.


The entire front side of the climate controlled Cocoon is composed of windows creating a looking-glass for your nature-viewing pleasure. Step outside onto your private deck for an open-air experience of dining, yoga, stargazing, or soaking in your cedar hot tub

Wraparound, floor-to-ceiling glass walls make the Glass House the ultimate experience in nature with all the comforts of home. Soak in your private tub perched into the forest watching wild turkeys and deer stroll past you. Modern sleek design melts into nature as the floor to ceiling windows pull the majestic forest into your space.


The geodesic dome offers an elegant, circular, simplistic design with a modern flare. Popularized in desert climates, this structure is well-insulated and your experience will be temperature-controlled via HVAC. The beauty of the dome is the entire front, semi-circular side is a mosaic of windows offering stunning views of the hill country landscape.

Buckeye Bungalow

Immerse yourself in a bygone era of the safari tent with it’s simplistic circular elegance and open-living concept, while still having access to present-day comforts. Beside the safari tent, you’ll find a private, two-ton, hand-carved rock soaking tub tucked within a grove of native plants. The Yaupon Bungalow also has A/C, heat, internet, flat screen tv, private bathroom, and efficiency kitchen.

Liveoak Lodge

Enjoy sitting on the roof top deck staring at the stars or in the soaker tub and plunge pools perched into the forest watching wild turkeys and deer stroll past you. This two bedroom container home is modern yet melts into nature as the floor to ceiling windows pull the majestic forest into your space.

Named among the “Top Five Western Art Towns” by Southwest Art Magazine and home to dozens of working artists, Fredericksburg has continued its tradition as a gathering place for rich, productive interaction between artists, which in turn draws art lovers and art collectors. Fredericksburg is home to more than a dozen art galleries - many of which are located on the West End (west of Marktplatz). Fredericksburg is also home to art studio tours, art schools where both novice and professional artists can perfect their work, and First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg.

Shop Fredericksburg

A trip to the Texas Hill Country is not complete without walking the main street of Fredericksburg and exploring the quaint German town with its array of restaurants and shops.

The back roads of Gillespie County provide miles of scenic views for road bicycle riding. Mountain biking enthusiasts will enjoy Hill Country State Natural Area, near Bandera, Pedernales Falls State Park, near Johnson City, and Flat Rock Ranch, near Comfort.

Wildflower Farm

Visit the nation’s largest working wildflower farm. The farm has more than 1,000 cultivated acres in Texas and over 200 acres of wildflower fields at its Hill Country headquarters outside of Fredericksburg. View a real working wildflower farm and stay to shop at the Market Center where you can find gifts and home decor and Texas native plants and pottery. Grab an ice cream cone at the Brewbonnet Biergarten.

Wine Tasting
